I’m a singing teacher and musical director with a career rooted in professional Musical Theatre, new writing, and elite vocational training. As a performer, I’ve appeared in leading roles including Joseph (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Sky (Mamma Mia!), and Jack (Into the Woods), alongside extensive work across large-scale commercial productions.
As a composer and musical director, my work is defined by clarity of storytelling, musical precision, and deep respect for craft — principles that equally underpin my teaching. My writing includes original musicals such as Lift and Thérèse Raquin, developed and performed within the professional theatre landscape.
For seven years, I was Head of Music at Laine Theatre Arts, and I’ve taught singing and ATS (Acting Through Song) across the UK’s leading drama schools, including RADA and Central School of Speech and Drama. I work with performers from pre-vocational training through conservatoire entry, professional auditions, and sustained career development.
I’m Estill Voice Trained and an ATS specialist. My approach integrates voice, text, and acting, informed by rigorous musicianship and a musical director’s understanding of style, structure, and storytelling.
